Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. Connecting to Congress During COVID-19: Political Representation and Two-Way Crisis Communication

Project Description: In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Congress needed to communicate reliable information and develop responsive policies rapidly. To support this, Deliberative Town Halls were adapted to include bipartisan congressional participation and expert input. This paper details how fostering two-way conversations helped inform policy and gave constituents a vital platform to voice their experiences and concerns during a national emergency.
