Pim Trommelen is a second-year PhD student in political theory with a focus on plebeian politics, radical democracy, and critical theory. Currently, his projects look at the ways in which people experience political life within modern democracy and anti-oligarchic institutional design.
Before coming to Ohio State, Pim received his BA in Sociology and Philosophy from West Virginia University and he received his MA in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. He is originally from the Netherlands.
