The Glenn College will host Ready to Run, a non-partisan campaign training program for women, on Thursday, December 7 at Ohio State's Fawcett Center. The purpose of this training is to encourage and train women who want to run for office, seek higher office, work on a campaign, get appointed to office or learn more about the political system.

As a one-day conference, the program lays the groundwork for public life with insight from current elected officials. Participants will learn about campaign messaging, financing a campaign, receive an overview on key elements to launching a political campaign and best practices to developing oneself as a community advocate.
