Shop Class for Democracy: Shop Class for Democracy deliberative forums build students’ skills in critical thinking, dialoging across difference, and deliberative decision-making and promote stronger commitment to democratic values and institutions.
Education for Citizenship Course: IDEA’s Director Michael Neblo teaches the course Education for Citizenship every spring semester. Students get to confront complex philosophical questions and policy issues head-on but do so in a rigorous, respectful, and constructive way.
