Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Euchan Jang is a PhD student in Comparative Politics and Political Theory. His research interests include democratization, public deliberation, and post-authoritarian regimes in the Asia-Pacific region. Specifically, he aims to empirically analyze recent public deliberation initiatives in Southeast Asia in order to rethink the institutional design of public deliberation in a post-authoritarian setting. 

Euchan received his BA in International Relations and German Languages and Literature from Tufts University and earned his MA in Political Science at Seoul National University. Additionally, he served as a military translator in the Republic of Korea - United States Combined Forces Command (ROK-US CFC) in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
